Demonstrate our inspection equipment

She's operational for a few weeks now, but recently, during some maintenance at dolderman, we had the opportunity to demonstrate our inspection equipment to the crew.

Meet the brand-new MTS Theger! Measuring 110 meters in length, 11.45 meters width and a cargo capacity of 2750 tonnes. She is one of dolderman's finest creations, built for DK SHIPPING & TRADING GMBH and expertly managed by BFT Tanker Logistics.

Why is the Vapour Lock Valve system a game-changer?

1. Health and Safety: It ensures the well-being of the crew and everyone on board.

2. Environmentally Friendly: It prevents overpressure (toxic gasses!) from being released into the atmosphere.

3. Precision and Independence: It allows for fully closed, accurate, and independent gauge and sampling inspections, benefiting oil owners and traders significantly.

This innovation helps the inland shipping industry stay ahead of future regulations.

Yesterday, we had the privilege of welcoming two special guests for an exclusive demonstration on MTS Inspiration at Asto Shipyard!

This was an incredible opportunity to showcase our closed gauge and sampling system, highlighting all its benefits for human beings, the environment and the industry. Team Tank-Eye B.V. was excited to demonstrate how MTS Inspiration is revolutionizing maritime solutions.

A big thank you to:

Kesih Van den Berg - Dominicus and Dana White for their interest and engagement.

Together, we are setting new standards in the maritime industry!

Let's kick off the week with some exciting barge news!

We recently had the pleasure of installing our closed gauge and sampling system on Benzene transporter MTS Countess Maria (110m in length, 11.45m width), part of the imposing Burando Barging fleet. Thanks to Henri Vranken (TankTech) and his 3D scans of the cargo tanks, we were able to determine the optimal location for the Vapour Lock Valve, establishing a new (ullage) reference point on each tank.

Burando Barging prioritizes the wellbeing and safety of their crew while delivering the highest service to their clients. Our product plays a key role in achieving these goals by ensuring that no dangerous gasses or substances are exposed to humans or the environment. All fully closed gauge and sample inspections are now conducted with the highest accuracy and safety. We, of course, closed the day with a demonstration of the inspection equipment.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Burando Barging for their trust in our company and products!

The majority of inland tankers are sampled using deepwell pumps, day in and day out.

Have you ever wondered how much diesel the onboard generators consume to power these pumps and the amount of CO2 emissions produced?

Check out the attached document for a comparison between both systems. These figures are based on average values according to market data.

Already the 2nd stainless steel tanker from Triade Shipping B.V.!

We’de like to introduce MTS Spera, part of the impressive TankMatch B.V. fleet, with 110 m in length, 13,5 m width, a load capacity of 4281 MT and successfully installed with vapour lock valves on the butterwash hatch. This upgrade is a significant step forward in enhancing the safety and efficiency of inspections like gas measurements and multilevel sampling. Staying ahead of the curve with upcoming rules and regulations ensures compliance with future changes.

Thank you to Nico vd Geer for the assignment and to Asto Shipyard for bringing this project to a success. We are proud to continue leading the way in innovative solutions for the maritime industry.

Have you ever seen an inland tanker from underneath? Quite an overwhelming view!

Last week we had the pleasure to deliver our vapour lock valves and demonstrate our closed inspection equipment on one of Jeroen Rigter's impeccable ships - drydocked at Scheepswerf Kooiman Hoebee B.V.! Meet Green Award Binnenvaart barge MTS Isis; 110 m in length, 11.45 m width, 3.75 m depth, 2514 MT deadweight, spread over 8 cargo tanks and is part of the magnificent TankMatch B.V. fleet!

We’d like to thank Jeroen Rigter and Isis Bv for the assignment!

Deen Shipping has firmly committed to Health, Safety and Sustainability!

Their goal is to create a safer and healthier work environment for crew members and surveyors. But that’s not all, their commitment also benefits the environment by ensuring that dangerous gasses remain on board while accurate and independent inspections take place. This is crucial for their customers, both traders and oil owners.

Recently, MTS Argonon endured the installation of a closed measure and sampling system. Now, at Scheepswerf Kooiman Hoebee B.V., it’s MTS Alpheus’s turn; a very well maintained Green Award Binnenvaart barge with specifications: 110 meters in length, 11.45 meters in width, 3.75 meters in depth, and a deadweight of 3200 metric tons. Burando Barging, with their professional expertise, oversees her planning.

And here’s the exciting part: MTS Argonon and Alpheus are just the beginning. The entire Deen Shipping fleet will follow soon! Stay tuned for more updates.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to Glenn Deen and Rob Borremans for making these amazing deals possible!

Absolutely content to share that, even during the Maritime Industry event, our work continued effortlessly!

We are pleased to welcome MTS Ramshoorn to the Tank-Eye B.V. closed systems fleet! This spotless tanker, owned by Rene van Laar and Jan van Laar, proudly sails under the TankMatch B.V. flag. With a length of 110 meters, a width of 11.45 meters, a depth of 3.31 meters, and a deadweight of 2780 MT, her unique design makes her perfectly suited for navigating low water levels and the complicated German channels. Equipped with brand-new vapor lock valves, she is fully prepared for all closed inspections and compliant with upcoming regulations! A demonstration of the system and equipment was given at Breko.

We extend our compliments to Dockside Shipfacilities B.V. for their perfect welding operations and express our genuine gratitude to Rene and Jan for entrusting us with their confidence in our product.
