The GTN Chem is a portable fully-closed and gas-tight sampler with a liquid transfer under completely closed conditions. The liquid transfers into a septum-sealed laboratory bottle and is never exposed to the atmosphere, guaranteeing the sample's integrity. A closed vapor recovery system dispatches the vapors back into the tank while transferring the liquid into the sealed laboratory bottle.

Ideal for the following situations:

• When you require a representative multi-level (running, upper, middle, lower, absolute bottom, first foot) sampling.
• In case of clean chemicals or refined (low-viscosity) products.
• If the sample must not be in any contact with the atmosphere to maintain its specifications.
• When gas release during the sampling operation is not allowed.
• For connection on 2-inch Vapor Lock Valves exclusively.

The gas-tight construction of the sampler prevents the release of pressure from the tank and exposure to vapors during operation. The equipment is suitable and certified for use in potentially explosive environments. You can add a specific sample bottle, which allows you to take zone, spot, running or soil samples.

This sampler allows easy installation on 2-inch vapor lock valves with quick connect coupling. You can read the sampling height on the graduated tape and you can transfer the liquid into a septum-sealed laboratory bottle after sampling. It bears the KEMA 06ATEX0027 (II 1 G c IIB T6) Construction Safety Approval and conforms to the European Union’s Directive 94/9 EC. The sampler has also been approved by all major classification societies. The unit complies with a wide number of regulations, including API (MPMS Chap 17.11).
