Installation of Vapour Lock Valves on board MTS Deja
Last week, we proudly delivered and installed our certified Vapour Lock Valves on board MTS Deja — a steady player in the inland fuel oil logistics for nearly two decades.
In close collaboration with the technical team from AMS Barging and the skilled professionals at De Groot Diesel Marine Services, another fantastic upgrade project was completed seamlessly.
As part of our full-service approach, we also provided a demonstration of the closed inspection process to the crew. This included:
• Gas measurements
• Ullage readings
• OBQ/ROB dipping
• Free water detection
• Multi-level closed sampling
All fully in line with the upcoming ADN 2025 regulations — safer for the crew, more accurate for charterers, and emission-free for the environment.

Yesterday, I had the privilege of welcoming Ton Mol from the OCIMF (Oil Companies International Marine Forum) organization to demonstrate our Vapour Lock Valve for inland barges.
With perfect weather on our side, I showcased its benefits alongside our full range of inspection equipment. This was a fantastic opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss the latest regulations on closed inspections, an important step toward safer and more efficient operations.
