MTS Metis

She may not be the biggest on the river, but MTS Metis plays an outsized role in keeping inland shipping clean and compliant. With 14 tanks dedicated to slop collection and recovery, she’s engineered to handle challenging products with confidence.


As the industry has entered the ADN 2025 era, MTS Metis is fully equipped with certified Vapour Lock Valves, enabling completely closed measurement and sampling of water and oil layers (SLOPS) - all while keeping emissions fully contained!

At 110 meters long, 11.45 meters wide, and with a 3,179-ton capacity spread across 10 center tanks, MTS Valsinni perfectly balances power and precision. Recently, she received another upgrade at Scheepswerf De Volharding B.V. with safe & certified Vapour Lock Valves. She’s now fully ADN 2025 ready - enabling closed, accurate, and emission-free inspections that protect both people and the environment.

Meet Hydrovac 11 – Compact, Capable and Compliant

At 35 meters long and 6.40 meters wide, Hydrovac 11 may be small in size, but she plays a vital role in sustainable waste management on the inland waterways. With 6 cargo tanks and a total 250 MT capacity, she’s purpose-built for the collection and transport of bilge water and sludge — critical work for maintaining clean, safe and efficient ports.


As of January 2025, the handling of slops containing CMR characteristics has transitioned from open to closed sampling - a major step toward safer and cleaner operations. With fully safe and certified Vapour Lock Valves, MTS Hydrovac 11 is fully ready for this new standard. These systems enable fully closed, gastight, and representative inspections, including precise measurement and sampling of water and sludge layers - all while keeping emissions fully contained.
