To accelerate our European growth, we’re looking for an ambitious Account Manager Europe who will grow relationships, expand existing accounts, and develop new opportunities across the continent.
Your Mission
You are the trusted commercial partner for customers across Europe. You’ll build long-term relationships, drive adoption of our closed systems, and grow revenue through renewals, expansions, cross-sell and upsell—while ensuring customers get the right solution and support.
What You’ll Own
- Account growth across Europe: manage and expand a portfolio of customers (terminals, refineries, chemical sites, maritime operators, surveyor companies, inland shipping companies).
- New opportunities within accounts: identify stakeholders, map needs, spot cross-sell/upsell opportunities, and convert them into proposals and orders.
- Relationship leadership: build long-lasting relationships with HSE, Operations, Quality, Procurement, Surveyors, and Management—be the go-to person for commercial coordination.
- Value-based selling: clearly present how Tank Eye improves safety, compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency—tailored to each stakeholder.
- Contracting & negotiations: negotiate and close agreements aligned with Tank Eye’s European growth strategy.
- Market intelligence: track market developments, regulatory changes, and competitive moves; feed insights back into our go-to-market approach.
- Industry presence: represent Tank Eye at international trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and customer events.
- Internal collaboration: work closely with technical and operations teams to deliver tailored solutions and continuously improve what we offer.

What You Bring
- Completed professional education (MBO or HBO level), preferably commercial and/or technical.
- Proven experience in sales or account management; experience in maritime, (petro)chemical, tank storage, or refinery industries is a strong advantage.
- A relevant professional network in Europe is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for innovation and sustainable solutions.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Europe.
- Strong command of Dutch and English; German is a plus.
